INFANT TODDLER PROGRAM

Welcome to Violette Visions Early Learning Center! We are committed to providing your child with the loving and nurturing environment needed at this age. Working together as parents and teachers we wish to develop all of your child’s potential. Our teachers will plan appropriate activities to stimulate your baby’s growth in all areas of development: social, physical, and mental.

Your baby’s teacher will work with you on the schedule you wish you baby to follow. This schedule will change as your baby grows. Your baby’s activity and care will be recorded on the Infant Daily Activity Record. This record will keep you informed on how your baby is eating and sleeping, as well as on the activities the teachers are doing with your child. It will keep you informed of new skills the teachers see your baby trying as well as of any unusual behavior that might be important for you to know. It will also notify you of anything we may need from you, such as extra diapers, clothing, or formula for your child. Our teachers will work with you to carry out your special instructions. Please keep us informed of any changes your baby might be experiencing, especially with regard to illness, medications, or allergies. Your baby will have an assigned crib with clean sheets and blankets. Toddlers will be provided with their own mat, sheets, and blankets. Only your child will use this crib or mat.

In order to provide the best quality care for your child, we need your help in the following ways:

Open daily communication with your baby.

Plenty of diapers, wipes, and extra clothes (including socks) especially for toddlers who are toilet training.

Plenty of formula, bottles, and baby food when appropriate. Foods you bring in should be clearly labeled with your child’s name. We provide all food, juice, and milk for older infants and toddlers who are eating table foods.
