VISIONS EARLY LEARNING CENTER
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Welcome to Violette Visions Early Learning Center! We are committed to providing your child with a challenging environment designed to meet all of your child’s educational needs. Through our educational programs, our experienced teachers strive to bring each individual child to his or her fullest potential through a positive, enriching learning experience. In order to achieve this goal we offer, in addition to our educational programs, music and movement, public library resources, and numerous special events for all ages to enjoy.
Visions offers full and part time care and educational programs for infants through kindergarten. Enrollments are accepted throughout the year depending on availability. Fall registrations are taken in February and March for the following school year. We are open weekdays, year round, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Visions does not discriminate against employees, children or families in any way. We have an open door policy encouraging parents and children to visit as much as possible before enrolling in order to get to know our staff, children, and program.
Our fully qualified staff includes 25 full and part time teachers. Children are grouped according to age and attend 2, 3 or 5 full or half days. The daily schedule includes a mix of structured activities, outdoor play, and free choice of play. We promote the development of reading, number readiness, and listening skills through structured and self-initiated activities as well as through our center based room arrangement. Rather than taking children off the property for field trips, we offer monthly in-house shows and family events. Snacks and meals are provided daily.
Each child is considered an individual and is given the opportunity to advance, discover, and become open to new experiences and challenges at their own pace. Children are encouraged to develop problem solving skills and self-control while learning to accept responsibility for their own actions. We believe in positive reinforcement as a method of discipline and stress the importance of respect for the individual rights of others while encouraging independence and self-expression.
At Visions we provide a healthy, secure, loving, and stimulating environment in order to help children achieve their full potential and develop in the following areas; creativity, individuality and self-expression, positive self-image and self-esteem, self-direction, communication skills, self control and respect for others, thoughtful and courteous behavior, moral and aesthetic values, responsibility for one’s actions.
